Kulig averaged 14.0 ppg and pulled down 10 rebounds in leading the Saint Mary's University women's basketball team to a 1-1 record last week. The SMU sophomore opened the week with a nine-point effort in SMU's loss to Hamline, then followed that up with a 19-point performance in leading the Cardinals to a 65-62 victory over St. Olaf on Saturday.

Kulig's 19 points marked the 11th time this season she has scored 10 or more points, and was her third-highest offensive output of the year. Along with her 28 points, Kulig also pulled down 10 rebounds — all defensive — while adding six assists and a steal.
