The Saint Mary’s women’s hockey team had a breakout weekend, scoring 11 goals in posting back-to-back wins over Lawrence — and Jenna Kurkowski was leading the Cardinals’ offensive charge.
 
Kurkowski scored her first goal of the season in last Friday’s 3-0 win over the Vikings, before notching her first collegiate two-point game, scoring once and assisting on another in SMU’s 8-0, sweep-clinching victory.
