Paulson put together a pair of memorable performances for the SMU women’s basketball team at the Music City Classic last weekend in Nashville, Tenn., as the senior guard averaged 22.0 ppg, while adding 12 rebounds, six assists and a pair of steals.
 
Paulson kicked off the Cardinals’ Tennessee stay with a 23-point showing in a 71-65 loss to Penn State Behrend, going 8-for-18 with five 3-pointers and a 2-for-2 showing from the free throw line.
 
And she picked up where she left off the following afternoon, going 7 of 14 from the field with a pair of 3-pointers and a 5-for-6 effort from the charity stripe en route to a 21-point performance in a 60-53 win over MIT.
