Anthony scored a career-high 41 points — including the game-winning 3-pointer from just inside half-court with 1.5 seconds remaining in regulation — to lift SMU to an 83-82 win over North Park on Dec. 30.
 
The senior guard shot a sizzling 66.7 percent from the field (16-for-24) with three 3-pointers and a 6 of 11 effort from the free throw line. He also added 14 rebounds — one shy of his collegiate best — and collected four assists.
 
Anthony’s 41-point showing — which included 26 points in the second half — was the highest single-game individual performance since Will Wright netted 41 against MacMurray on Nov. 22, 2008, and ranked third in program history, just five shy of the school-record 46 posted by Ken Jansen against Macalester during the 1956-57 season.
