Kubes led the Cardinal women’s track and field team’s charge at the Washington University Invitational last weekend, placing third in the hammer throw, and posting a seventh-place mark in the shot put. Kubes delivered a third-place throw of 44.0 meters in last Friday’s hammer competition, before adding a seventh-place toss of 11.29 in the shot put. Kubes completed her hectic weekend with a mark of 31.64 in the discus.
