Weber enjoyed quite the week for the Cardinal baseball team, hitting a team-leading .545 with three doubles, three RBIs, and a .682 slugging percentage in helping SMU to a 4-1 week — including wins in each of its last three games.
Â
Weber, who had at least one hit in all five games, kicked off his week with three hits in eight at-bats in a split against Augsburg, before adding a pair of two-hit performances in the Cardinals’ sweep of Concordia, and capped off the week with a career-high five hits in seven at-bats — including a pair of doubles — in Saint Mary’s 19-9 nonconference win over Bethany Lutheran.
Â
For the week, Weber finished 12-for-22 with three doubles, nine runs scored, and three RBIs, while walking once, being hit by a pitch, and stealing three bases on five attempts.
