Sessler, coming off a then-season-high eight-save effort against Saint John’s on Saturday, stopped a career-best 13 shots in helping lead the Cardinals to a 1-1, come-from-behind nonconference tie with the Prairie Wolves.
The Cardinal senior, who had stopped 12 shots in a game five times, has now stopped 43 of the 53 shots he’s faced, boasting a 1.35 goals-against-average and an .811 save percentage. He owns one shutout and has appeared in all eight games this season — including seven starts.
