Bauman closed out the Cardinals’ four-game week hitting a stellar .643 and boasting a meteoric 1.286 slugging percentage against the Blue Devils, Eagles, and Royals.

Bauman finished SMU’s four games — nonconference tilts against UW-Stout and UW-La Crosse, and a two-game MIAC twinbill against Bethel — collecting nine hits in 14 at-bats, including three doubles and a pair of home runs, while scoring four times and delivering five RBIs.

Bauman kicked off his week by going 5-for-5 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored in a 13-12, 10-inning loss to UW-Stout — and collected a sixth straight hit and a walk in his first two plate appearances against No. 12 UW-La Crosse, before finally being retired in at-bat No. 3.
