SAAC is the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Saint Mary's University of Minnesota student-athletes on campus. The SAAC is comprised of various student-athlete representatives from each of our 17 varsity athletic sports on campus. The committee's main purpose is to ensure that student-athletes have a voice on campus, in their conference, and at the national level. The student-athlete representatives provide insight on the student-athlete experience and offer input into rules, regulations, and policies that affect student- athletes' lives on campus.

To become a member of SAAC, student-athletes must be nominated by their coaches for their position on a year-to-year basis. The members of that year's SAAC general body vote student-athletes into their E-Board positions on a yearly basis.
