WINONA, Minn. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team (7-11) hosted the Hamline Pipers (4-7) for their final home match of the season but couldn't overcome the head-to-head sets, falling 7-2 on Senior Day.
 
Five different sets in today's duel went into extra games or sets, making it an intense back-and-forth matchup.
 
Michael Johnson and Tucker Stene pushed their doubles set to a thrilling tiebreaker, falling 8-7 (8-6).
 
Stene carried that momentum into his singles match, defeating his Piper opponent 6-2, 6-2.
 
In the final singles match of the day, Zak Farley wrapped up his home season with a crucial victory, winning 7-5, 7-5 in two extra games.
