WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's men's tennis (1-4) team fell to Concordia Wisconsin (2-1), 7-0, on Friday evening at the Winona Tennis Center in a challenging nonconference matchup.

The Falcons took an early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches, putting the Cardinals in a hole heading into singles play. Despite the scoreline, Saint Mary's battled across the lineup, with several matches featuring competitive stretches and strong individual effort.

In singles action, Gavin Pratt, Zak Farley, Michael Johnson, Paul Havemeier, Kanyon Hicks, and Owen Fonder all took the court and fought through tough matchups against a deep Concordia Wisconsin squad.

Saint Mary's will look to bounce back quickly as the Cardinals continue building momentum and chemistry early in the season.

The team is back in action on Sunday, Feb. 8 for two matches in Ripon, Wis. starting at 12:00 p.m.
