Palmer averaged 20.5 points-per-game in helping lead the Cardinal men's basketball team to a perfect 2-0 start. The sophomore guard opened the season with an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in SMU's 78-57 win over Crown, then followed that up with a 23-point effort in a 67-59 victory over Luther.
