Thelen hit .400, going 4-for-10 wiht four RBIs and two runs scored — earning the SMU sophomore Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Tournament honors.

Thelen started all three tournament games for the Cardinals, who opened the double-elimination tourney with an 8-7 loss to eventual champion St. Thomas. SMU followed that up with a 6-2 win over Augsburg, before falling to Gustavus 7-1 in an elimination game.
