LaNasa hit .300 — going 3-for-10 — for the Cardinals at the MIAC Tournament last weekend. The sophomore second baseman opened the double-elimination tournament going 1-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in SMU's 4-2, 10-inning upset of top-seeded St. Thomas. LaNasa then added hits in both of SMU's next two games, while also notching a third RBI.
