Ben Buerkle led the way for the SMU baseball team during its 10-game spring trip to Tucson, Ariz., as the freshman hit .407 — going 11-for-27 — whiile lacing two doubles and two triples. He drove in nine runs and boasted a .630 slugging percentage.

Buerkle, who leads the team with three multiple-RBI games, has hit safely in all nine games he has appeared in.
