Newsum clocked an eight-kilometer time of 26:45 to place 16th overall and earn honorable-mention All-MIAC honors. Newsum’s 16-place showing helped the Cardinal men’s cross country team to an eighth-place finish at last Saturday’s MIAC Championships.
