Walz was in a giving mood last weekend as the senior helped the Cardinal men's hockey team to a key MIAC sweep of Gustavus.

Walz collected assists on three of the Cardinals' five goals in their 1-0, 4-3 victories over the Gusties. Walz helped set-up the game's only goal in last Friday's victory, before dishing out assists on two of Saint Mary's four goals in the sweep-clinching win on Saturday.

For the season, Walz—who has now had at least one point in five straight games—leads the team with 10 assists and is second in points with 13.
