Hafiz proved to the offensive bright spot for the Cardinal women’s hockey team, as the senior scored both of the team’s goals against the league-leading Tommies last weekend.
 
Hafiz extended her career-high point-scoring streak with her first two-goal game of the season — and fourth of her collegiate career — by netting both Saint Mary’s goals in last Friday’s 5-2 loss to the Tommies. The streak, however, came to an end the following afternoon in SMU’s 4-0 loss in the rematch.
 
Hafiz — who scored five goals and added three assists during her six-game run — heads into this weekend’s two-game MIAC series against Bethel leading the team in both goals (8) and points (12), while sitting second with four assists.
