Ary Ziakas was one busy goaltender Saturday afternoon.

The junior faced 57 shots last Saturday in the Saint Mary's women's hockey team's MIAC game against fifth-ranked Hamline - and Ziakas was up to the challenge, finishing with a career-high 54 saves in the Cardinals' 3-3 tie with the nationally ranked Pipers.

Ziakas' 54-save effort was 10 more than her previous career-best - set earlier this season - and marked the most saves by a Cardinal since Ashley Corcoran kicked out 56 Gustavus shots in 2017.
