Swanson made her outdoor debut one to remember last Saturday at the Masked Mayhem Classic, posting three first-place finishes to pace the Cardinal women’s track and field team.
 
Swanson won the 800 — stopping the clock in 2:28.50) — uncorked a toss of 37.27 meters to win the javelin, and ran the anchor leg of the Cardinals’ winning 4x400 relay.
 
Swanson and the Cardinals are back in action on Friday, heading to Collegeville, Minn., to take part in the Saint John's Invitational.
