Anderson closed out his collegiate career with a bang, hitting a team-leading .667 in the Cardinal baseball team’s showing at the NCAA Regional Tournament May 28-30 in St. Paul, Minn.
 
Anderson was virtually unstoppable at the plate, collecting eight hits in 12 at-bats, while scoring three runs and reaching base 10 times in SMU’s three NCAA games.
 
The senior outfielder posted his first collegiate four-hit game in the Cardinals’ come-from-behind 15-13 win over Aurora to opening tournament play, then added his second straight four-hit performance a day later in SMU’s 3-1 loss to Northwestern.
 
Along with his eight hits — including included seven singles and a double — Anderson walked once and was hit by a pitch. He boasted a .750 slugging percentage and a .714 on-base percentage. In the outfield, Anderson was flawless, posting six putouts in six chances.
