Wright averaged 27.0 points-per-game and 6.5 rebounds-per-game in leading the Cardinals to a 1-1 showing last week. Wright opened the week scoring a game-high 24 points in the Cardinals' 77-58 win over Concordia last Wednesday, then followed that up with a 30-point effort in SMU's 71-67 loss to St. Olaf on Saturday. Wright's 30-point performance was the third time this season he has scored 30 or more points.
