EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University men's hockey team hadn't played a game in more than three weeks when they stepped on the ice Friday night against UW-Eau Claire. But there wasn't any rust in the Cardinals' offense, as SMU erupted for 12 goals en route to a 12-1 drubbing of the Blugolds.
