WINONA, Minn. — Kyle Schlaak scored a game-high 29 points and Jason Linzmeier and Travis Leech each added 15 as Winona State beat the Saint Mary's University men's basketball team for the 11th straight time 79-57 Wednesday evening, and maintained its strangle-hold on The Rock, the 70-pound traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the cross-town rivalry.

SMU (0-3 overall), which trailed by 11 at halftime, cut the lead to four with 10 minutes remaining, but could not keep up with the high-flying Warriors down the stretch.
