St. Thomas Friday evening at the SMU Ice Arena.
Christy Hicks (Bloomington, Minn.) and
Tennie McCabe (Rochester, Minn.) each netted first-period goals for the Cardinals (8-2-0 MIAC, 12-4-0).
Emily Kearns (Hopkins, Minn.) closed out the scoring with a second-period goals as the Cardinals won their fourth straight game.
The Cardinals improved to 8-2-0 in the conference and closed to within one point of the Tommies (8-2-1 MIAC, 10-3-1) in the race for the MIAC's top spot.
Meemken recorded four saves in the first period, 10 in the second and 11 in the third en route to her second shutout of the season.
