Game Summary

WINONA, Minn. — Katie Lentz (Cottage Grove, Minn.) and Kelli Mooney (Maple Grove, Minn.) each scored second half goals as the Saint Mary's University women's soccer team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 2-0 nonconference victory over UW-Stout Saturday afternoon at Ochrymowycz Field.

Lentz netted her second goal of the season off a free kick at the 46:36 mark to give SMU (3-8-2 overall) all the offense it would need, and Mooney tallied her team-leading third of the season 22 minutes later to give the Cardinals a little breathing room as SMU won for the first time since a 4-3 overtime win over St. Catherine on Oct. 2.

Colleen O'Hearn (Champlin, Minn.) and Dianna Kyllo (Kasson, Minn.) combined for a 10-save shutout, with O'Hearn stopping eight shots, while Kyllo made two saves.
