Game Summary

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Tommy Catman scored a game-high 24 points — including 11 of 16 from the free throw line — as Augsburg handed the Saint Mary's University men's basketball team its third straight loss, 74-69, Saturday afternoon.

The Cardinals had a trio of players score in double figures, led by Jason Dzick's (Duluth, Minn.) 17 points, but it was not enough as SMU fell to 2-12 in the conference and 3-15 overall.

Augsburg held a four-point, 36-32, halftime advantage, then held on down the stretch to complete the season sweep of the Cardinals.

Jeff Tendall (Leclair, Iowa) chipped in 14 points and five rebounds in the losing effort for SMU, while teammate Dusty Ward (Lakeville, Minn.) tallied 12 points.
