WINONA, Minn. — Ryan McIntosh stopped 54 of 55 shots as Augsburg extended the Saint Mary's University men's hockey team's winless streak to nine games with a 4-1 victory at the SMU Ice Arena Saturday evening.
McIntosh was flawless for two periods, stopping all 18 SMU shots in the opening 20 minutes and all 23 second-period SMU shots. SMU goalie Dan Byron (Edina, Minn.) stopped 19 of the Auggies 23 shots, including a penalty shot in the second period.
