DECORAH, Iowa — Luther proveed to be too much for the Saint Mary's University swimming and diving teams, as the host Norse rolled to a 119-57 win in the men's dual, and a 157-60 triumph in the women's dual.

Scott Schultz (Cary, Ill.) and Ben Chastek (St. Paul, Minn.) picked up the lone individual victories for the Cardinals, as Schultz won the 200 IM (2:15.09), while Chastek touched the wall first in the 500 freestyle (5:39.6). Ben Travers (Chicago, Ill.) added a second-place finish for the Cardinals in the 1000 freestyle (11:19.50).

On the women's side, Katie Krebsbach (Mendota Heights, Minn.) posted the Cardinals' top finish with a third-place effort in the 200 freestyle (2:09.56). The SMU 400 relay team of Krebsbach, Dawn Van Houten (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), Jeanna Fabian (Woodstock, Ill.) and Heidi Andre (Fairbanks, Alaska) placed third in 4:56.3.
