ST. PETER, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's tennis team found the waters awfully rough Saturday afternoon, as SMU dropped back-to-back matches to Concordia (6-1) and Gustavus (7-0).
Geoff Granseth (Winona, Minn.) was the lone bright spot for the Cardinals, as the sophomore posted a 6-2, 6-4 win against the Cobbers at No. 1 singles. SMU (0-4 MIAC, 0-5 overall) was swept in straight sets in the other five singles matches vs. Concordia, and failed to win a set in all six singles matches vs. the high-powered Gusties.
