WINONA, Minn. — It was the perfect tune-up for this weekend's Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
The Saint Mary's University men's tennis team earned its second straight win, while the Cardinal women snapped a three-match losing streak, as SMU swepts its regular season-ending nonconference match against Bethany Lutheran.
The Cardinal men picked up straight-set wins in five of the six singles matches and cruised to easy wins in the three doubles matches en route to an 8-1 win over Bethany Lutheran, while the SMU women did not drop a set in rolling to a 9-0 victory.
