Game Summary

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The search continues for the Saint Mary's University women's soccer team.

Make that searches — the search for shots, the search for goals and the search for wins.

The Cardinals dropped their fourth straight game Saturday afternoon as St. Thomas erupted for six first-half goals en route to a 7-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win.

St. Thomas pelted SMU goalie Emily Strom (Waterford, Wis.) with 22 shots, while the Cardinals — who have been outscored 19-0 during their current four-game losing streak — managed just four shots on goal.

The Tommies wasted little time putting the game away, scoring less than three minutes into the opening half, and by the time Anna Schlick netted the second of her two straight at the 36:59 mark, UST had a commanding 6-0 advantage.
