The Cardinals dropped both games in its season-opening weekend last Friday and Saturday, falling to St. Scholastica 9-1 and UW-Superior 10-3. … UW-Stevens Point, meanwhile, pushed its season-opening winning streak to three straight with a 3-1 win over Concordia and a 5-4 victory over Saint John's last weekend.

Last Meeting: Anthony Bohn (Spring Hill, Fla.) scored his first goal of the season 1:08 into the opening period, but that was the extent of the Cardinals' offense against UW-Stevens Point a year ago, as the Pointers netted three unanswered goals to beat SMU 3-1.
