A Year Ago: Hamline took both games of their two-game series a year ago, outscoring the Cardinals 8-5 in the first game — despite a pair of goals from SMU's Mike Glaesmer (Traverse City, Mich.) — then held SMU to a Morgan Shepherd (Brainerd, Minn.) goal in winning the rematch 3-1.

All-Time Series Record: Despite their loss on Friday night, SMU owns a 60-16-0 record all time against the Pipers. The Cardinals' 60 wins vs. Hamline are SMU's most vs. any conference opponent.
