ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's basketball team, which kicked off its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 57-44 win over Augsburg on Wednesday, is back on the road on Saturday, traveling to Macalester for a 1 p.m. MIAC game vs. the Scots.

The Cardinals got a game-high 18 points from Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.) and 11 from Cherie Kulig (Independence, Wis.) en route to a 57-44 victory over Augsburg in the teams' MIAC opener in Minneapolis, Minn., on Wednesday. Macalester, meanwhile, fell to St. Thomas 77-49 in their conference opener Wednesday in St. Paul, Minn.

December 2, 2009 — Macalester pulled down 17 offensive rebounds — including three huge offensive boards off missed free throws in the final minutes that helped secure the Scots' 61-48 conference victory at the SMU Gym.
