ST. BONAFACIUS, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's soccer team, coming off a 1-0 nonconference win over Lakeland at home on Sunday, takes to the road for the first time this season on Tuesday, traveling to Crown for a 2 p.m. nonconference match against the Storm.

Last Action:
The Cardinals got a second-half goal from Ryan Rademacher (La Crosse, Wis.) to beat Lakeland 1-0 in a nonconference win over Lakeland Sunday afternoon at Ochrymowycz Field. Crown, meanwhile, gave up a goal late in the second half and had to settle for a 1-1 double-overtime tie against North Central in Minneapolis, Minn., Saturday.

Last Meeting — September 8, 2009:
Steve Boussie (Troy, Mich.) scored just eight minutes into the opening half, and the Cardinals never looked back in handing the Storm a 2-0 nonconference setback at Ochrymowycz Field.

Ryan Rademacher (La Crosse, Wis.), who shared the team's scoring lead a year ago, netted his first goal of the season Sunday to lift the Cardinals past Lakeland. … SMU's four goals have come from four different players — Rademacher, Steve Boussie (Troy, Mich.), Juamaine Venter (Rochester, Minn.) and Zach Palma (Washburn, Wis.). … Palma's goal — in a 3-0 win over Marian — was the first of his collegiate career. … Boussie leads the team in assists (2) and points (4). … Phill Rendell (Denver, Colo.) stopped four shots vs. Lakeland in recording his first collegiate shutout. … Three of SMU's four goals have come in the second half. … All three of the Cardinals' games this season have been decided by shutout.  … Today's game at Crown is the first road game of the season for the Cardinals, who opened with three straight home games. … Today's game is also the fourth in seven-day span for SMU. … With their 3-0 win over Marian Wednesday, the Cardinals have now won their season opener in back-to-back years and are 4-1-1 in their last six season-openers.
