Jess Miller became the ninth player in SMU women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points Wednesday, pouring in a team-high 21 points vs. the Wildcats. … Miller, who reached the career milestone with her last field goal of the game, is the first SMU player to hit the 1,000-career point mark since Jessica Weisbrod accomplished the feat in 2008. … Fifteen of Miller's 21 points vs. St. Catherine came in the second half. … Miller's 21-point effort vs. St. Catherine marked the second straight game — and the sixth time in her career — that she has scored 20 or more points.
