WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's basketball team is back in action on Wednesday, hosting Bethel in a 7:30 p.m. conference tilt at the SMU Gym.

Jamie Stefely (Lisle, Ill.) scored 10 points and added 10 rebounds, but Gustavus used a 21-9 run to end the game and hand the Cardinals a 64-49 MIAC setback at the SMU Gym Saturday. Bethel, meanwhile, got 29 points and 10 rebounds from Scotti Moats in a 69-61 conference loss at Macalester on Saturday.

Wednesday's game against Bethel is the fourth of five straight home games for the Cardinals, who close out the lengthy homestand on Saturday against Macalester. … Jamie Stefely (Lisle, Ill.) recorded her second straight double-double against Gustavus Saturday, as the junior post scored 10 points and hauled down 10 rebounds. … Stefely, who scored a career-high 21 points and added 10 boards against Augsburg last Wednesday, has now accounted for three of the team's four double-doubles this season. She and Jessica Thone (Woodbury, Minn.) each had a double-double against Macalester on Dec. 4, with Thone scoring 13 points and adding 10 rebounds, while Stefely had 10 points and 10 boards. … … Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.), who became the ninth player in program history to reach 1,000 career points with her 21-point effort against St. Catherine on Jan. 12, enters today's game against Bethel averaging a team-best 13.5 ppg and has scored 1,057career points. Bethel's current slide comes on the heels of a season-high seven-game winning streak. … Wednesday's game at Saint Mary's is the second of four straight road games for Bethel. … Scotti Moats scored a season- and career-high 29 points vs. Macalester Saturday — it was the highest offensive performance by a Royal this season and marked the third time this season the sophomore has scored 20 or more points. … Moats added 10 rebounds against the Scots en route to her fourth double-double of the season. … Moats enters Wednesday's game vs. Saint Mary's with a team-leading 13.9 ppg scoring average, while Taylor Sheley (11.8 ppg) and Shana Grejtak (10.7 ppg) are also averaging in double figures. … Moats also boasts a team-best 7.7 rpg. … Five of Bethel's eight wins have come at home.
