The Cardinals' 52-51 win over Macalester Saturday was their 10th of the season, marking the first time SMU has reached the 10-win plateau since the 2004-2005 season finished 18-8 overall. That year was also the last time SMU has reached the MIAC post-season tournament. … Monday's game at Concordia is the first road contest in the Cardinals' last six games. SMU will play five of its last eight games on the road. …
Cherie Kulig (Independence, Wis.) led the team in scoring for the second straight game on Saturday against Macalester, tossing in 11 points. The senior guard had scored a season-high 19 points in SMU's 61-47 win over Bethel last Wednesday. … Kulig's output against the Royals was her highest since netting a career-best 24 against Hamline on Jan. 6, 2010. …
