December 4, 2010: The Cardinals managed just one goal in the teams' nonconference rematch, as the 11th-ranked Raiders ran their season-opening winning streak to eight straight with a 7-1 win over SMU at the Kern Ice Center.

Fueled by their split against Adrian on Nov. 11-12, MSOE jumped to No. 8 in the latest USCHO.com national poll. … Tuesday's game at Saint Mary's is just the second road contest of the season for MSOE. … The Raiders' 3-2 loss to fourth-ranked Adrian on Nov. 12 snapped their season-opening five-game winning streak. … The Raiders had outscored their opponents 27-8 during their five-game win streak. … Adrian's three goals equaled the most allowed by MSOE this season. The Raiders also surrendered three goals in their season-opening 7-3 win over Concordia (Wis.). … Cole Gibson enters Tuesday's game at SMU with a team-leading five goals, while Jordan Keizer, Todd Krupa, Bradley Tierney, Josh Keizer and Mike Pao have all scored four.
