NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's hockey team concludes its two-game MIAC series against St. Olaf on Saturday, traveling to the Northfield Ice Arena for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Oles.

The Oles scored four unanswered goals — including the game-winner with 37 seconds remaining in overtime — to rally for a 5-4 victory over the Cardinals Friday at the SMU Ice Arena.

January 15, 2011: St. Olaf jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in handing the Cardinals a 5-1 nonconference setback at the SMU Ice Arena. Nicole Olson (New Brighton, Minn.) netted SMU's lone goal against the Oles.
February 25, 2011: St. Olaf outscored SMU 2-1 in the third period in handing Saint Mary's a 2-1 conference setback at the SMU Ice Arena.
February 26, 2011: Trailing 2-1 and needing to win for any shot at an MIAC playoff berth, the Cardinals surrendered a pair of third-period goals in falling to St. Olaf 4-2 in Northfield, Minn.

Up Next:
Following Saturday's game at St. Olaf, the Cardinals are off until Jan. 6-7, 2012, when SMU squares off against UW-Eau Claire in a home-and-home nonconference series. SMU is at UW-Eau Claire for a 7 p.m. game on Jan. 6, then hosts the Blugolds a day later at 2 p.m. at the SMU Ice Arena. … St. Olaf, meanwhile, is also off until the new year, hosting St. Scholastica in a 3 p.m. nonconference game in Northfield, Minn.
