WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, hosting St. Olaf in a 7:30 p.m. conference contest at the SMU Gym.

Kim Kaminski (Milwaukee, Wis.) scored 16 points, and Cherie Kulig (Independence, Wis.) and Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.) each scored 11, but Hamline pulled away late to hand the Cardinals a 70-57 MIAC loss at the SMU Gym Saturday. … St. Olaf, meanwhile, got 17 points from Mackenzie Wolter in a 62-52 conference loss to Macalester in Northfield, Minn.

February 17, 2010: Jessica Thone (Woodbury, Minn.) scored a game-high 15 points and Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.) chipped in 13, but the Cardinals missed their final seven field goal attempts, as St. Olaf rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to beat SMU 55-52 in an MIAC game in Northfield, Minn.

Saturday's loss against Macalester Saturday was the Oles' fourth in their last five games. … St. Olaf's 52 points in its 71-52 loss against Macalester marked the 11th time this season the Oles have failed to net at least 60 points. … Mackenzie Wolter scored a team-high 17 points against the Scots Saturday, while Erin Haglund chipped in 12 points and Terin Euerle hauled in 13 rebounds. … Wolter has now led the team in scoring in each of their last four games, six times in the Oles' last seven and 12 times this season. … Euerle's 13 rebounds were a season-high for the senior guard, and equaled the team's season high. … Wolter enters tonight's game averaging a team-leading 13.2 ppg. She is the only Ole averaging in double figures. … Seven of St. Olaf's 10 wins have come on its home court.
