Michael Burfeind eclipsed the 20-point barrier in SMU's win over Bethany Lutheran. Burfeind, who netted 24 points against No. 5 St. Thomas and 26 against Crown, tossed in a game- and season-high 28 points vs. the Vikings — including knocking down 10 of the team's first 12 points. … Burfeind, who has led the Cardinals in scoring in each of the last four games — and in all five games he's played this year — has now scored in double figures 37 times in his collegiate career. … Burfeind's 28-point effort vs. Bethany Lutheran on Dec. 12 was his 12th game of 20 or more points. …
