The Cardinals have picked up three of their four wins on their home court this season. … For the fourth game in a row, Michael Burfeind (Lewiston, Minn.) and Pat Freeman (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) each scored in double figures against Concordia Monday. Burfeind netted a game-high 22 points, while Freeman chipped in 14. … Thirteen of Freeman's 14 points vs. Concordia Monday came in the second half. … SMU boasted four players in double figures vs. the Cobbers. It was a 61-59 win over the Knights in the teams' first meeting that ended the Scots' season-opening nine-game losing streak. … Macalester has been held under 60 points in 12 of its 19 losses this season. On the flip side, the Scots have surrendered 70 or more points nine times — including each of their last three games. … Sam Marshall scored 21 points to pace the Scots vs. Carleton Wednesday.
