COLLEGEVILLE, Minn.  — After a week off, the Saint Mary's University men's soccer team takes to the road on Saturday, heading to Saint John's for a 1 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game against the Johnnies.

The Cardinals got a goal from Ryan Geidner (Antioch, Ill.) in the game's 14th minute and made it stand up, as SMU collected its first conference win of the season with a 1-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Bethel Saturday at Ochrymowycz Field. … Saint John's got a goal from Joe Laue with just over 17 minutes remaining in regulation, lifting the Johnnies to a 1-0 conference win over Augsburg in Minneapolis, Minn., Saturday.

The Johnnies left SMU in their dust, as SJU scored goals in the opening minutes of each half in handing the Cardinals a 3-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference setback at Ochrymowycz Field.
