LA CROSSE, Wis. — Talk about saving your best for last.

In their final meets of the season, Saint Mary's University's Katie Stolz (Forest Lake, Minn.) and Peter Borash (Bowlus, Minn.) turned in record-setting performances at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance Meet Thursday evening at UW-L's Veterans Memorial Stadium.

For the second time this season, Stolz broke the Cardinal school record in the steeplechase, clocking a time of 11:42.42 — more than five seconds faster than the previous record, also set on the UW-La Crosse track in early April.

Borash, meanwhile, capped a stellar four-year collegiate career in style, as the senior broke the school's 13-year-old 1,500 record, stopping the clock in 3:55.23 to break Ryan Bickler's time of 3:56.26, set in 2000.
