The Cardinals scored with 17 seconds left in regulation, then got the game-winner with 35 seconds remaining in overtime en route to a 6-5, come-from-behind victory over Hamline at the SMU Ice Arena.

November 9, 2012: SMU scored early — and often — against Hamline, as the Cardinals erupted for five goals in the game's first 12 minutes en route to a 9-2 conference victory at the SMU Ice Arena.
November 10, 2012: The Cardinals — coming off a 9-2 win over the Pipers that included a five-goal first period — scored five unanswered goals, erasing a 2-1 deficit and leading SMU to a 6-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at the Vadnais Heights Sports Complex in Vadnais Heights, Minn.

Mueller (New Berlin, Wis.), Brad Fusaro (Soldotna, Alaska), Tommy Robaczewski (Arlington Heights, Ill.), Andrew Ketterer (Peoria, Ill.), Bobby Thompson (Centerville, Minn.), Scott Deur (Big Rapids, Mich.), Ryan Griffiths (Arvada, Colo.), Brad Denney (Fishers, Ind.), Nick Nagel (Andover, Minn.), Austin Balko (Midland, Mich.) and manager Brian Thesenvitz (Woodbury, Minn.). … Saturday's 6-5 win over Hamline was SMU's second straight and third in their last four games. … The Cardinals' six goals vs. the Pipers Saturday were a season high. … SMU has now scored 20 goals in its last four games. … Four of SMU's six goals vs. the Pipers Saturday came from seniors — Deur (2), Fusaro and Bobby Thompson (Centerville, Minn.). … Saturday's OT game was the second in the last three contest for the Cardinals, who also dropped a 5-4 decision to Concordia on Feb. 14, and the third overtime game of the season. HU's last win was a 5-4 victory over Northland on Jan. 11. … Thirteen of Hamline's 24 games have been decided by two goals or less. … Kevin Novakovich netted two of HU's five goals vs. Saint Mary's, while Andrew Carlson, Cody Mason and Andrew Herbert accounted for the other three. … Novakovich's two goals vs. Saint Mary's push his team-leading total to eight.
