WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's soccer team returns to Ochrymowycz Field on Saturday, as the Cardinals host St. Thomas in a 6 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest.

 September 28, 2013: It was a tale of two halves at UST's South Field—the Cardinals dominated the first half, and the Tommies controlled play in the second. Unfortunately for SMU—despite a 5-3 edge in shots—the Cardinals' offense came up empty, and went into the halftime break deadlocked at 0-0. Sunday's loss to Carthage was the Tommies' second straight setback. … Last Saturday's 4-1 setback vs. Wartburg snapped UST's season-high four-game winning streak. … St. Thomas has surrendered four goals in two of its three losses this season—the Tommies fell to Whitworth 4-1 on Sept. 1. … All five of St. Thomas' wins this season have been by one goal. … The Tommies upset No. 2-ranked Loras in Dubuque on Sept. 7, 2-1. That win propelled St. Thomas into the national top-25 poll.
