The Cardinal women will be without graduated standouts Katie Stolz (Forest Lake, Minn.) and Abbi Osborne (Winthrop, Minn.). Stolz set a new school record in the 5,000 during the indoor season in 2014, before breaking the school mark in the steeplechase three times during the outdoor season—including shaving 17 seconds off her previous best with an all-conference time of 11:17.80 at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. … Osborne, meanwhile, collected honorable-mention All-MIAC honors at the outdoor championships a year ago, placing fourth in the javelin with a throw of 37.90 meters. … Maya Booker (St. Paul, Minn.) is back for her senior year, after closing out 2014 with an honorable-mention showing in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.77 meters to place sixth. … Gus Wiggert (La Crosse, Wis.) and Tyler Kircher (Cashton, Wis.) each qualified for the men's hammer throw final at the outdoor championships in 2014, with Wiggert placing eighth in 46.24 meters and Kircher ninth in 46.07 meters. … Jovan Newsom (Glendale Heights, Ill.)—coming off an NCAA National Championship appearance during the cross country season—broke the tape in 4:09.13 to finish 11th in the MIAC 1,500 last season. … Aaron Haley (Plainview, Minn.) stopped the clock in 32:18.83 in the 10,000 at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on April 19 to break the old mark of 32:34.04 set by Robby McGuire in 2011. … Stolz's record-setting performance in the 5,000—where she broke the old school mark by more than six seconds with her time of 18:43.93—highlighted Saint Mary's efforts at the indoor season-ending conference championships. … Booker placed seventh in the MIAC indoor weight throw with a toss of 14.67 meters, while Haley (5,000) and Wiggert (shot put) chipped in ninth-place efforts.
