Reese Galewski (Winona, Minn.) made a big splash in her first year as a Cardinal a year ago, breaking the school record in the 100 butterfly twice—including a time of 1:01.41 to reach the consolation finals at the season-ending MIAC Championships. … Galewski closed out her first conference championships by also posted collegiate-best swims in the 100 (1:06.70) and 200 backstroke (2:25.10). …
Grace VanBeest (Flossmoor, Ill.) also enjoyed a banner 2015 MIAC Championships, setting a new school record in the 200 breaststroke, reaching the consolation finals with a time of 2:33.33—seven seconds better than her previous collegiate best. VanBeest also posted the fastest 100 breaststroke time of her collegiate career with a 1:10.91 to reach the MIAC consolation final, while also shaving six second off her MIAC-qualifying time in the 200 IM, touching the wall in 2:23.34. … VanBeest and Galewski teamed with

Zac Finkelstein (Naperville, Ill.) reached the consolation final in both the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke in his first MIAC Championships last season. He shattered the school record in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.98, and clocked a time of 55.65 in the 100 backstroke. …
Brian Mockler (Dubuque, Iowa) swam into the MIAC consolation final in the 100 breaststroke in 2015, touching the wall in 1:03.07. He also knocked two seconds off his collegiate-best 50 freestyle time, stopping the clock in 23.48.
